In 2017, Zara Gayk decided to open up her working method, which had previously been strongly influenced by strict structures and color-determined compositions, and to develop a freer format.
Her experiences with visual worlds in music and dance increasingly gave rise to a desire to incorporate the dimension of movement into her artistic process. This led to her exploration of the animation of painterly image ideas. At the same time, she created individual works that exist as independent pieces, but also serve as starting points for her animated paintings.
